Public Records & Litigation Docket

A free, independently maintained index of public-records requests, agency correspondence, and selected court documents, including mold and asbestos-related city records from the 2025 Maple Hills renovations.

Public records should truly be public.

Access to public information should not depend on someone's financial resources, legal knowledge, or ability to navigate complicated systems.

This archive is intended to present records accurately and chronologically, including documents that support, contradict, or complicate positions taken in the underlying dispute. Visitors are encouraged to read the original documents and reach their own conclusions.

Transparency should be the standard, not the exception. Because we can do better. And we should.

New document · November 1, 2026

A June 17, 2025 email from construction superintendent Ryan Craft to Red Wing building official Scott Safe forwards a description attributed to the owner's abatement contractor. It lists Building A, Unit 109 among areas where mold clean-up and sealing were reported, and it outlines a general process of HEPA vacuuming, disinfectant application, wiping, and an optional coating.

Earlier emails dated June 10–11 discuss city council members' indoor-air-quality questions and requests for air-migration and abatement reports. The correspondence records what was requested and represented; it does not by itself verify that every cleaning step occurred inside Unit 109, establish the condition of the air there, or determine liability.

The nine-page scan appears to repeat the same three-page chain three times. It is posted unchanged as supplied, to preserve the document sequence.

Also newly indexed: 2025 asbestos-related sampling sheets, manifests and June city air-quality correspondence. Review the asbestos records and the limits of the evidence →

How the archive works

  • Documents are indexed in sequence and identified by originating agency, document date, and publication status.
  • Supplied source PDFs are posted unchanged, including agency redactions, stamps and page order. Descriptions and status notes appear separately.
  • Requests, responses, productions, and findings are distinguished from one another.
  • Later corrections add a new dated note rather than silently changing the history.
